Our Mission
The House of Hope is a non-profit, community resource facility that promotes community safety by providing client-centered support and services necessary to assist our clients with responsible reintegration and lifestyle change.
Our Philosophy and Objectives
The House of Hope concentrates on the individual rather than the crime, and works to build on motivation toward reintegration and positive lifestyle change. Our goal is to create a supportive, home-like atmosphere that helps clients with the transition from a correctional institution to the community.
The House of Hope believes in promoting positive recreational and social activities – a philosophy reflected through our location in the heart of Ottawa, within easy walking distance of the Rideau Canal, community recreational centers, educational institutions, art and cultural centers, and major bus routes.
